Biography

Alisa Dumond is the author of the Coastal Escape Series, contemporary romance novels set against the beautiful backdrop of Newport, Rhode Island. Her stories explore second chances, friendship, family, fresh starts, and the unexpected paths that can lead us back to where we belong.

Newport has long held a special place in Alisa’s heart and serves as the inspiration behind the Coastal Escape Series. Through familiar waterfronts, historic streets, coastal inns, and New England scenery, she creates stories where setting is as much a part of the journey as the romance itself.

Alisa is a Rhode Island author and enjoys bringing recognizable local places and the atmosphere of coastal New England into her fiction.

Her Coastal Escape Series includes Where the Tide Brings You Back and When Newport Calls You Home. The third book in the series, Where It Was All Along, is scheduled for release on November 14, 2026.
